About the role

We are looking for a Partner Manager to further develop our CIPHR Connect Partner proposition.

We have developed a market leading partner proposition and now have over 50 partners connected to the CIPHR Connect platform.  This is an important role for the business which is key to increasing the number of partners we have as well as the number of partner products that our customers choose to buy from CIPHR.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying new partners and key stakeholders to understand their proposition, and sell the CIPHR Connect proposition, partnership model and value to them
  • Collaborating on the development and execution of go-to-market plans with our partners to promote our partners’ solutions to CIPHR’s market, and CIPHR’s solutions to our partners’ audience
  • Establishing and growing business and technical relationships with our partners
  • Managing the day-to-day interactions with the partner teams
  • Driving customer adoption of integrations between the CIPHR Connect platform and our integration partners’ solutions
  • Identifying opportunities to cross sell CIPHR’s solutions to our partners’ customers
  • Building marketing plans (in partnership with the CIPHR marketing team) for our partner products to deliver adoption across the CIPHR customer base
  • Identifying and building relationships with HCM analysts and HR consultancy partners
  • Supporting marketing activity, such as participating in webinars and events, that showcase partner solutions, and educate the market of the benefits of integrating best of breed solutions with a central HCM platform
  • Ensuring partner marketing information is kept up to date, including case studies and the partner profiles in CIPHR’s online partner marketplace
  • Understanding our customers’ needs, challenges and future strategies and use this intelligence to create demand and sales opportunities for partner products.
  • Collaborate with CIPHR’s product development team to build and configure integrations with partner solutions that deliver optimal value to CIPHR’s customers
  • Monitoring activity across our customer base and use this research to identify potential sales opportunities within our customers
  • Educating internal stakeholders, including CIPHR’s sales, business development, customer success and account development teams, about our partners’ solutions, features, benefits and target markets.
  • Producing accurate reports on the uptake of partner solutions among CIPHR’s customers, and associated referral revenue, to CIPHR’s finance team. Similarly, providing information to CIPHR’s finance team to track referrals and associated fees from partners to CIPHR.

About You:

  • The ideal candidate will be able to engage at a senior level internally, as well as with partners and collaborate with lots of different teams within the business. You’ll also have the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and be able to build and convey compelling value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You may have experience of the following: Partner Consultant, Partner Manager, Partner Account Manager, Partner Marketing Manager or have strong Sales Management/Customer Management experience.
  • Personable. People just seem to warm to you and open up in conversations.
  • Able to think on your feet and ask insightful questions to understand a customer’s needs
  • Some previous experience in the human resource industry is highly desirable but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and works well under pressure
